We are thrilled to announce that INPD is hosting a multi-day, hands-on course designed to enhance your understanding of nursing professional development and prepare you for the NPD certification exam offered by ANCC. This course is ideal for current and future healthcare educators and will cover key domains of practice, including:

- Ethical, Legal, and Regulatory Standards
- Evidence-Based Practice and Research

Light breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided on both days. Attendees will receive more information regarding parking and directions closer to the event date.

Registration Refund and Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to intermountainNPD@gmail.com at least 14 days before the first day of the live course to qualify for a refund. No refunds will be offered after October 31. The course is intended to be completed in its entirety, and no refunds or make-up dates will be provided for any missed sessions.
Speakers
Theresa is a doctoral -prepared board-certified nursing professional development specialist with more than 30 years of health care experience where she held diverse roles including leadership, quality, and consulting. She currently serves as an NPD practitioner in a large academic medical center. She is a certified Caritas Coach and teaches nursing leadership theory in University of Michigan's DNP program. Theresa has extensive experience in education design and creating innovative professional development activities to close the knowledge, skill, practice gap. She has presented to a diversity of audiences on the local, state, national, and international audiences, including podium presentations at ANPD and the Magnet Conference. Her passions include celebrating the unique talents of all nurses, coaching them to grow and develop their professional nursing practice, and improving the quality of patient care. As a healthcare consultant, she has helped many organizations achieve the esteemed ANCC Magnet designation. As a professional development practitioner, she has planned, implemented, and evaluated a homegrown seamless to transition practice program that yielded excellent New Graduate satisfaction scores, very high retention rates, and improved patient outcomes. Theresa can be described as having high energy and creating a warm, welcoming environment which are important to facilitate learning.
