CATH LAB/IR CARDIOLOGY NURSE

Idaho Falls Community Hospital is looking for an experienced Cath Lab/IR Cardiology Nurse to join our team!

Must have experience as an Registered Nurse please.

Cath Lab, IR or high acuity experience preferred. General RN experienced will be considered.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for assisting the cardiologist in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures on patients and providing quality nursing care, assessing and managing patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab, and support interventional radiology as needed. In-addition, the Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse patient-care specialist in all aspects of the Cardiac Catheterization Closely monitoring the patient for improvement or complications, administering medications including conscious sedation and assisting the Interventionist are some of the tasks of this role.
