Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Pocatello, ID.

Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.


Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.  The RN responds to life threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.  The RN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.  


Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho.
  • Obtain BLS certification.

  • Obtain NRP certification within six months of hire.

  • Obtain STABLE certification within six months of hire.

  • Current PALS certification preferred if assigned on Life Flight Team.

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Prefer at least two years of nursing experience
